Abortion can be a hard topic to discuss in a group setting, but the doctrines and policies are both clear and critical. That's why we created "The Sanctity of Life: A Discussion on the Doctrine and Policy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." This simple, flexible, and powerful presentation is completely rooted in gospel truths and the words of the prophets.
Who is this for?
The discussion is intended for Latter-day Saint audiences, as organized by ward/stake leaders or by informal or other groups of Latter-day Saints. Appropriate for youth and adults.
How long is it?
The full presentation is around 90 minutes long, with adaptations as short as 45-60 minutes.
Who will present?
By design, any Latter-day Saint for Life can receive materials and support to offer the presentation personally to their group. Depending on availability and preference, a leader of Latter-day Saints for Life (local or via Zoom) may also offer the presentation.
